First Friday events at the Chino Youth Museum are filled with great entertainment, art projects and activities for the entire family. This FREE event is the perfect opportunity to spend an adventurous afternoon learning and exploring the Museum exhibits. The Museum would like to thank Edison International for sponsoring First Friday. Entertainment will take place outside; feel free to bring a blanket to sit on. Due to limited space, please limit strollers to only those occupied by sleeping babies. Dates: December 14, January 4, February 1 Time: 3:00-5:00 p.m. Fee: Free (from 3:00-5:00 p.m. only) *December First Friday will take place the second Friday of the month due to Santa's Village. *If extreme weather, the event will take place inside and will be limited to the first 160 guests. If the show takes place inside, Museum exploration will not be permitted during the show. ![]() Kids Night Out
Participants can enjoy a fun Saturday evening at the Museum, while parents enjoy a nice evening out. The night's activities will include art projects and games. Participants will be able to make their own dinner, under the supervision of our caring staff. Due to limited space, pre-registration is required by the Thursday before the event. Autism Resource/Special Needs Resource &Fun Fair
This special event will provide an opportunity for children, parents, siblings, and caretakers of youth with Autism or other special needs to have fun in a safe and welcoming environment. Various community partners, who specialize in supporting children on the autism spectrum, will be on-hand to provide helpful resources. Join the Easter Bunny for a fun filled lunch that parents and children can enjoy together. Children will be able to visit with the Easter Bunny, explore the Museum's exhibits, play games, and make a fun art project. Summer Programs
Beat the Heat
Children will enjoy summer games, art projects, and "cool" activities. May involve light water play. Parent participation is required. FREE with paid admission. TBD Oooey-Gooey Tuesdays Mushy and messy creative explorations for the child who loves to get their hands goopy! Children will brew recipes for all sorts of paints, clays, blubbers and slimes, and other marvelous mixtures. Pre-registration is recommended. Parent participation is required.
